Our Favorite Bikes from the Fall 2021 Beta Tests – Video

Here we are—you’ve followed along, notepad in hand, for every minute of every Beta Test review from our test camp last fall in Bellingham, Washington. Your local trails really only make sense for a nice balanced trail bike, but still you pored over the angles on the whole gamut of bikes that we rode, from the nimble-footed Ibis Exie to the heavy-metal-on-wheels Norco Range. You memorized all of Ryan Palmer’s outfits, and can quote each of Travis Engel’s movie references, that may or may not somehow tie back to the bicycle up for discussion. And now, dun dun dun, you have a malty beverage cracked open and unsipped, and you’re ready for the big payoff.

Or, maybe you’re not like that at all. Maybe the only person to have watched all of this stuff is the guy that edited them. Maybe you’re new here. (If so, welcome.) Maybe you’re too busy riding your bike to hang onto every syllable we speak—really, more power to you—and you’ve been waiting for us to distill it all down in one video and get to the point.

Well, finally, here it is—each of our five testers’ favorite bike from the Fall 2021 Beta Tests. There were a few clear winners. There were also some runner-ups, some category winners, a plentitude of plaid and some mediocre jokes; because come on, this is The Beta Tests.
