High-end apparel brand Kitsbow is expanding cycling clothing sizing from XXS to XXXXL and offering a variety of lengths and fits in its made-to-order production facility in Western North Carolina.

Kitsbow’s first project was the Icon Shirt, offered not only in six sizes but also in three fits, for a total of 18 choices. Other styles currently offered in extended sizing are the Crew, V-Neck, and the Cyclone Tee, with plans to keep evaluating all styles and expanding sizes throughout its products.

“When compared to the current limited selection available from most brands, offering this kind of flexibility and variety sounds like a dream,” said David Billstrom, Kitsbow CEO. “But this is the kind of tailored and inclusive buying experience Kitsbow is working to create.”

Each future new size offering will be released only after it’s tested for fit and performance.

“We know that humans come in a variety of sizes and shapes, and through our innovative manufacturing process, we plan to allow each and every body to comfortably enjoy their favorite outdoor adventures,” Billstrom said.

Kitsbow moved to Old Fort in December 2019 and pivoted to personal protective equipment manufacturing in the spring when the COVID-19 pandemic began in March.
