Bellingham, Washington is home to a lot of radness. There are countless pro and could-be-pro riders there, taking advantage of the also countless miles of world-class trails. There are a number of influential brands in town, and a number of non-bike business serving the bike community. There’s also jumps. There’s The Shire for the BMX-oriented crowd. And for riders who crave hang time, there’s Blue Steel.

One of those riders is Bellingham Local and Transition employee, Hannah Bergemann, and along with Transition themselves, Bergemann is hosting a women’s-only jump jam on the Blue Steel line. Friday, September 3rd, some of the world’s best female athletes will be warming up on Blue Steel. Then, on Saturday, they will be hosting some informal clinics with young riders until around 5 PM when, weather permitting, the jump jam will commence. We’ll be sure to bring you recaps once the event is wrapped.
