About an hour and a half southeast of Transition’s home town of Bellingham, Washington is the small city of Darrington. It’s essentially surrounded by the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, and things are a little more raw than the well traveled trails of Bellingham. It’s a perfect place to showcase what the new 170mm Spire can do. Transition staffers Lars Sternberg and John Richardson put in some extra office hours doing some stellar riding for the video, but stay tuned for the post-credit scene where Richardson, along with Oliver Parish, Kyle Young and Transition’s visuals guru, Skye Schillhammer spend some time clearing the recently thawed trail for the cameras.
